Recommended Wine Books and Wine Maps

Windows on the World Complete Wine Course- A very helpful guide to wines around the world. He goes into everything from the information on the label (especially helpful with the German wines) to what years were great for Bordeauxs. An excellent book to increcase your wine knowlesdge.

The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine- A very helpful guide to wine. Very highly recommended.

Gary Vaynerchuk's 101 Wines- Gary Vaynerchuck is changing the wine world, whether we like it our not. And to futher add some thunder to the wine industry, he has written a book about the 101 wines he guarantees will inspire, delight, and bring thunder to your world. You can catch Gary reviewing wine on his internet TV show.

Wine Road Free Map- For more detailed map of th regions written about in the book, Beyond Napa Valley: Dry Creek and Alexander Valley, head over to wineroad.com. There you can receive a free wine map along with purchase tickets to wine events in the area.

 

Recommended Wine Organizations & Wine Magazines

ZAP - The Zinfandel Advocates and Producers. If you are a Zin fan, this organization is for you.

Wine Spectator- The magazine for wine. If you are serious about wine, this is a must read.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine- Another wonderful magazine all about wine. The magazine's website features a searchable database, at no charge, of the wines they have reviewed and rated.
